I have been in Tampa Bay for almost four months now and I really enjoy it. I moved to Tampa from West Palm Beach Fl in January 2010 i moved here to go to USF at first it was difficult because i did not know a soul here but after a couple of weeks i got settled in and started to meet people. So far i throughly enjoy going to USF it is my first experience going to a large major university and it is everything that i thought it would be. Back in West Palm Beach Florida i went to a community college by the name of Pbcc where i received a associates degree in business. Pbcc which is now Palm Beach State College was also a very good experience for me because it was a very small school i was able to thrive and complete my general education courses without a problem. I felt going to a community college was necessary for me to begin college, if i would have started out at a big university like USF chances of me failing would have been higher. The reason i chose Tampa was because i needed a change from south Florida , i wanted to get out of my comfort zone. The city of Tampa has alot to offer for students for one it is much cheaper to live for young people than in South Florida. I love the beaches in Clearwater and St Pete, which is just a short drive from Tampa bay area. i still have a lot of new things to experience here and Overall i believe i will really enjoy my two years in Tampa Bay.

I’m a big fan of cigars. i like to partake in a quality cigar every once in a while, not all the time because there not good for your health and there also expensive. but i have a self profound passion for cigars there are some people that know me who do not understand why i have this passion for in their words such a gross thing. i tell them its like with anything you have a passion for what you enjoy! some people enjoy wine others enjoy beer i just happen to enjoy cigars in moderation. there is a fellowship between cigar smokers that one would only know if they were to like cigars as much as i do. for example when you walk into a cigar bar its kind of acquired at first because some of them are very snobby but when you light up that first cigar its all good there is this common bond that takes over between you and your fellow cigar smoker. if one only new the time it takes to create a cigar they would probably understand where the passion comes from. a cigar goes though a very rigorous process before it is complete. for example the first stage is the curing process which is the drying out of the tobacco leaves the second stage is the fermentation process this is when the leaves are put in a spiner and while being rotated they are continually heated. and the last stage is the rolling process where the cigar is finished. there is three parts to a cigar first is the wrapper which is the top leave second is the binder which holds the last part which is the filler together. real cigars are also handmade machine- made cigars are not even close to the quality and consistency of a handmade cigar. there is no better place to start your cigar smoking hobby like the city of Tampa bay which is the cigar capital of the United States.

I belive that the american Revolutionary war that was fought and won back in 1776 to 1785 is now in vein. if we look at the reason the american revolutionary war was fought it was mainly for taxation purposes which the patriots of that era called taxation without representation. this makes sense because when your freedom starts to get violated it all starts with taxation purposes. once the people start getting taxed they do not have the freedom to do what they want to do which this concept is called individual freedom and this is what we have in the United States Of America for now i cant say how long it will last.but are taxes in the United States are an outrage we not only pay property tax but also sales tax we pay taxes on everything that the government can find to tax us on. this is the purpose of the tea party movement that has spawned in the past year since Obama’s election. Tea stands for taxed enough already. The Tea Party movement is not protesting Obama as a president they are protesting the high taxes that he is proposing. after the stimulus package the was put into effect last year which was over one trillion dollars the only thing that can happens to the effect of that is taxes sky-rocket because we did not have a trillion dollars to give away so we had to print it or borrow it which causes hyper inflation and when you have hyper inflation the government has to tax the people more to make more money so they can pay back what was borrowed or printed. and this was the real reason the revolutionary war was fought it all started with taxation which in time will take away your freedom.

Global Warming has been a huge issue in the last decade. its almost as if it is another form of religion. people from around the world are very obsessed with global warming. which leads me to believe it does not exist. I personally believe that the earth goes in cycles this has been proven by scientist that the earth does actually go in cycles for every one scientist that comes out with a global warming issue there are at least five that say global warming does not exist and the earth naturally evolves into warming cycles and cooling cycles. Global warming is just another way of taxing privately owned companies and corporations that are considered to be contributing to global warming by letting carbon emissions into the atmosphere. global warming is just another way to expand government, this is how it began and it just started growing into a worldwide conspiracy. there comes a time where the united states has to become independent again like it once was because believe or not the United states is not a independent nation anymore, we defiantly have the resources to be but the environmentalist wont let us use them. there is so much coal in the united states that we are considered the Saudi Arabia of coal but we are just letting it go to waste because it is thought of to increase global warming. and on top of that we should be drilling for oil i mean think about it do we really need to be supporting terrorists organisations by buying oil from the middle east.do not get me wrong i believe in taking care of the environment but when its hurting us more than the environment than its considered insane.

The super bowl last nite was a great game it was super bowl forty four. it was a victory for the saints as well as for the city of New Orleans. the city defiantly needed a victory after Hurricane Katrina. the game basically flew by last nite i thought there would have been more scoring and more penlities which would have made the game go into overtime there was tons of great plays as well as bad plays for both teams. the coach for the saints wanted that win so bad that he trained his players like never before they were ready like never before. even tho the game last week when the saints did not play that well against the vikings they were ready for the super bowl. The colts also played very well but when the saints score that that last touch down it was all over. there were a lot of brave plays when the saints blitzed the touch down in the fourth quarter was amazing i never saw that coming. the city defiantly needed this victory. i was rooting for the saints but i honestly thought that the colts were going to have the victory because of the quarterback Payton Manning who still goes down in history as one of the best quarterbacks their ever was. the Colts team revolves around Manning. as for the commercials i was expecting much more this year in my opinion was the Worst Year for commicials in Super Bowl history. i mean i cant believe the adds were three million dollars for a thirty second commercial and they could not come up with better stuff than a Taco bell commercial with Charlse Barkely which did not make any sense

I think the TSA in the national airports in the united states are not doing nearly enough as they should be. they are pretty much looking for miscellaneous stuff like liquids and finger nail clippers when they should be doing more profiling. I’m not saying that profiling is the absolute answer but i think it is one of the answers especially for people flying in over seas. even tho terrorists could make themselves look like anybody the profiling method would help to secure the airports. sadly to say even if we have much more security in our airports the battle of terrorism is far from over. the next method on the terrorists list is to start targeting malls and universities where they know they will be able to do as much damage if not more as targeting an airplane. the main reason terrorists go after planes is because they get noticed the most. but think of how much a big university like Stanford or Harvard would get noticed if they were blown up. i believe there not only needs to be more security in the airports but there needs to be more security everywhere including university’s and malls because these places are next on the terrorists list. the head guys of these terrorist organizations are proposing that the terrorist take actions into their own hands so think of what could happen if each individual terrorist started to do the same things that one terrorist did in if Fort Hood Texas. it would be unbelievable how much damage would be done to america thats why we need security everywhere even if its just metal detectors and cameras just so the terrorist would be intimidated

I Have been kayaking for a good three years now and I really enjoy it. I have developed a self profound passion for this sport. The reason I started kayaking was because I basically needed a hobby something that I really enjoyed thus since I enjoy the water and the beach i figured that kayaking would be the way to go. I did not take any classes to learn how to kayak i just taught myself which was a little more time consuming but less expensive. I enjoyed teaching myself how to kayak it helped me come up with different ways of kayaking that were not as conventional, for example the Eskimo roll Is when you spin your kayak under water and turn it right side up, they do not teach you this in the class and I learned it in about six months. I love the euphoric feeling that you get while kayaking it really makes a person feel one with nature. This is probably the reason i enjoy kayaking the most. I have explored so many new things in the way of nature during my kayak adventures. for example the exzotic birds and animals that you see while on a canal or in the inter coastal. I believe that kayaking has helped me to appreciate the simpler things in life like nature and it is also a very good body and mind stimulating activity that research shows is one of the best exorcises for the heart.

Guantanamo Bay is a prison used to house terrorists or people affiliated with terrorists in Cuba. it is owned and ran by the United States. in 2009 when Barack Obama took office he began the process of shutting down the prison system in Guantanamo Bay because of the way that the so called terrorists in GB were treated. there has been cases of abuse and mistreating of the prisoners that are housed there. The president wants to shut down GB and house the prisoners in the US that would be perfectly fine if we were not giving these terrorist Miranda rights and letting them into our legal system. I cannot agree with having terrorists who are not US citizens in our prisons and having the tax payers foot the bill. Now there is some debate about these so called terrorists not really being terrorists and were falsely accused. That could be true but what if they are really terrorists and got into our legal systems and actually got away with these crimes, which often happens in America. their would be more terrorists living amongst us. I could understand housing them here if the crimes that these individuals committed happened in the US, or if they were US citizen ,but they are not and i do not think they should be in our population. these individuals were arrested because they defiantly had some sort of ties with terrorists organizations or were terrorists themselves. i would love if we could take on every countries grief and sorrow but we just simply do not have the funds to do so.

Two years ago my family and I took a summer vacation to Europe. This was one of the most enjoyable adventures i have ever had. First we landed in Niece France which is in the south of France. when we arrived I was starving because of the flight which was over nine hours long, and the only thing they served on the plane was a sandwich and a cup of fruit because we took air tram which is a more economical way of flying. Thus we could not find any real breakfast the only thing they were restaurants were serving was pastries and croissants, to make it even worse our hotel tried to charge us eight dollars for two rolls of bread and a cup of juice. to make matters worse the South of France was a very wealthy area which my background is middle class so we knew that we could only stay in Niece for two days. From Niece we took the Euro rail to Paris France where we stayed directly in the city. This was amazing, we took in all of the things to do like the famous artwork and the Eiffel tower. From Paris We took the train to Switzerland were i had a really good encounter, i met a girl from Romania and she was planning to come to West Palm Beach to study English so we hit it of and were together for a year to me this was a great experience because i cannot say that i have met anybody who has met a girl in Europe and followed them back to the states. All in all i loved my trip to Europe and will do it again in a heart beat.

In the past year since President Obama has been in office he has manged to implement a stimulus package that i do not agree with. yes the economy has seen better days but have we not learned anything from history. When FDR was president he did the same thing during world war two. The stimulus package FDR released was called the new deal and we are still paying of the debt from the new deal today. It is absurd to pass another stimulus package and put the United States Of America even further in debt when the US is already approaching twelve trillion dollars in borrowed funds and printed money. A stimulus package will not permanently fix the economy all it will do is put a temporary bandage effect on the economy. the reason the stimulus funds will have this ban-dad effect is because the money that is being used for the funds is being borrowed from other countries and printed this causes hyper inflation. hyper inflation will cause our dollar to loose its value in years to come. in turn the funds will have a temporary relief on the economy until inflation takes place which will put the US even deeper into a rescission. Now I am not saying this stimulus package is all Obama’s fault because President Bush is actually the one who started the stimulus fund cycle when he was in office. The primary way to fix the economy is by letting businesses fail that do not succeed such as GM and Chrysler and letting the private sector repair itself this is called capitalism and is what the United States was founded on. like the old saying goes “if its not broke don’t fix it.”
